- Cheer LA was originally conceived to provide an outlet for adult men and women interested in the athletic sport of cheerleading. In the tradition of Cheer SF, Cheer Dallas, and Cheer NY, Cheer LA is a rapidly growing group of volunteers seeking to promote spirit, unity, and diversity in our community through dynamic cheer, dance, and stunt performances. - Formed in 1980, Asian/Pacific Gays & Friends (A/PGF) embraces a diverse group of people: Americans who trace their descent from the countries of Asia and the Pacific Islands as well as recent immigrants and visitors from those countries.
