- Formed in 1980, Asian/Pacific Gays & Friends (A/PGF) embraces a diverse group of people: Americans who trace their descent from the countries of Asia and the Pacific Islands as well as recent immigrants and visitors from those countries. Organizers of the group have planned a membership and promotional drive over the next few weeks, and have announced the first event, which will celebrate the Asian community's Mid-Autumn Festival.
